Capturing identifiable data with Exclaimer Cloud 365
In order for the recipient and sender details to display within your reporting and the email notifications you first need to capture them. This would be done at the point that the email is sent, by including variables from Exclaimer in the Thermometer code. It works in the same way that you might add a merge field to the body of an email to merge in the recipient’s first name.
Below you’ll see a table of Exclaimer variables for you to choose from to insert into your empty custom fields in the 'Connect your survey' section of your Thermometer Builder.
The variables you enter will dictate what data is captured alongside the ratings in your account, so this is an important step for ensuring the feedback you collect is identifiable.
