Create your Groove Embedded Thermometer
Create a new Embedded Thermometer.
Choose “Basic HTML” from the Embedded Thermometer type drop down box.
Generate your embed code
Click the Generate embed code button. You will see a window popup.
To capture identifiable data about the recipient and sender etc we use Groove’s variables within the survey code. Enter your Groove variables as shown below. These variables will provide identifiable feedback and dictate which data is captured alongside Customer Thermometer rating. You can add more variables if you wish, click ‘Add more fields’.
Below are the variables we have found representing the sender which you can copy out:
Custom 1: %{agent_name} Custom 2: %{agent_email}
At the time of writing this guide, Groove does not offer variables representing the recipient details, however, please do check these if these have been introduced.
Click the pink “Generate HTML” button.
Copy the HTML generated in the box on the right hand side.
Add your Thermometer icons to Groove
Inside Groove, go to “Settings” >”Ticketing” > “Mailboxes” and add a signature per mailbox.
6) Under “signature”, click the Source button and then paste in the code. Click “save.”
Your Thermometer will now be embedded into the signature of emails sent by agents.
That’s it, you’re ready to go.
Responses and feedback will be registered, alongside your agent data from Groove.
