Setting up an Administrate Thermometer

Create your Administrate Embedded Thermometer

Create a new Embedded Thermometer.

Choose “Administrate” from the Embedded Thermometer type drop down box.

Generate your embed code

Click the Generate embed code button. You will see a window popup.

To capture identifiable data about the recipient and sender we use Administrate’s variables within the survey code. We pre-populate some of Administrate’s variables for you as shown below but you can add more into the spare custom fields if you wish (click ‘Add more fields’).

Click the pink “Generate HTML” button and copy the HTML code generated.

Add the Thermometer icons to your Administrate template

Let’s set up an end of course feedback email to send to delegates.

Inside Administrate, visit Settings > Communication Triggers.

We will assume you’ve validated your sending address.

Click the link to set up a Template and add a new one:

Fill in the various options and switch to HTML source mode (note the cursor below).

Paste in your Thermometer embed code and click the HTML source button again to display your icons. Customize the text / labels / question as you see fit.

Save once complete.

Finish by completing your Trigger as required:
